Shahnaz Taing (MBBS, MD) has served as Head and Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Government Medical College, Srinagar. She has completed her MBBS in 1989 at Government Medical College, Srinagar affiliated to University of Kashmir, Srinagar. She has an experience of more than 30 years as medical practitioner, teacher and researcher. She is the recipient of several awards. Prof. Taing is a Life Member of many Medical associations. She also has to her credit numerous research publications in peer-reviewed international journa
