Sanjaya Maniktala is the author of several power electronics books and currently CTO of his own company, Chargedge. Mr. Maniktala earned several patents in power conversion and power over ethernet, including the floating buck regulator topology and mode transitioning in a buck-boost converter using a constant duty cycle difference technique. He initiated the first unified approach to switching topologies and was also the first to recognize, articulate and apply fundamental power and frequency
