Dr. An is an Associate Professor in the School of Energy and Environment at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU). She received her PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Her dissertation on sludge minimization mechanisms in Oxic-Settling-Anaerobic process in wastewater treatment system was well received and cited. Since 2009, Dr. An has extended her research and education career with Sustainability concepts at the University
