EDMUNDO WERNA works at the headquarters of the International Labour Organization, Switzerland. He has worked on urban development as researcher, lecturer, consultant, government staff and UN staff. He has published numerous books, as well as chapters in edited books and articles in scientific journals. He is also a member of the editorial board of the journal Habitat International.
 
RAMIN KEIVANI is Reader in International Land Policy and Urban Development at the Department of Real Estate and Construction, Oxford Brookes University, UK. He is also Director of the International Land Markets research group at Oxford Institute for Sustainable Development. He is co-author of Pluralism in Housing Provision in Developing Countries and has published on globalization and urban development, as well as land markets and housing policy.
 
DAVID F. MURPHY runs his own consultancy business - The Company of Partners Ltd., UK. He is co-author of In the Company of Partners: Business, Environmental Groups and Sustainable Development Post-Rio and Something to Believe In - Creating Trust in Organisations: Stories of Transparency, Accountability and Governance.
