Description

This book is an original interdisciplinary study of international environmental law, international investment law, and international politics. It aims to ?ll this gap in the academic literature with an examination of the application of China’s state-centric CSR approach overseas (Africa). It contributes an innovative analysis of how China's SOEs and financial institutions pursue sustainable investment in Africa amid the latest reforms in the international investment regime, and it helps the international community understand the environmental and social impacts of China's investment on the continent.
