Md Rezaur Rahman is a Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Energy Sustainability, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), Malaysia, and is also Visiting Research Fellow at Faculty of Engineering, Tokushima University, Japan, since June 2012. He received his Ph.D. from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Malaysia. He has over 10 years of experience in teaching, research and industries. His areas of research interests include conducting polymer, silica/clay dispersed elastomeric polymer nanocomposites, wood polymer nanocomposites, hybrid-filled loaded polymer composites, advance materials: graphene/nanoclay/fire-retardant, nanocellulose (cellulose nanocrystals and nanofibrillar) cellulose-reinforced/filled polymer composites, chemical modification and treatment of lignocellulosic fibres including jute, coir, sisal, kenaf, hemp and solid wood, nanocomposites and nanocellulose fibres, polymer blends.

Dr. Chin Mei Yun is a specialist in the area of material in civil engineering, especially related to concrete/mortar. She obtained her Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) in Civil Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering in the year 2009 and 2014, respectively, from the University of Nottingham, Malaysia. She joined the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Science of Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak in 2013, as Associate Lecturer and was promoted as Lecturer upon the completion of Ph.D. in 2014. Her research works involve the use of by-products and recycling materials, i.e. fly ash, oil palm shell, coconut shells, fibre, etc., as reinforcement and filler in concrete/mortar. She also has strong collaboration with many local and international universities and companies, i.e. Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), University of Nottingham, Cahya Mata Sarawak (CMS) Sdn. Bhd, etc. Her upcoming research project is on The Properties of Treated Local Sarawak Marine Sand forConstruction Purposes, for which she has been awarded Research Initiation Grants from the Sarawak Research Development Council (SRDC).

Dr Muhammad Khusairy Bin Bakri is a specialist in materials/mechanical engineering. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D. (2018), Master of Engineering (by Research), M.Eng. (2016) and Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineer), B.Eng. (2014) from Swinburne University of Technology. Currently, he is working with UNIMAS as Research Fellow with his priority of research towards materials science, polymer composites, biomaterials and education. He is working under the supervision of Dr. Md Rezaur Rahman with Faculty of Engineering—Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS).
